Andesine was first described in 1841 for an occurrence in the Marmato mine, in Columbia and has only recently been used for beads. The stunning brick red coloring is 100% natural! This beautiful strand in smooth 3.7 to 6.5mm rondelles and measures a long 18". This stone is a member of the Labradorite/Feldspar family of gemstones. Temporarily strung, strands sold separately.
