This beautiful ancient Viking glass was found in Sweden and is registered with the Gemological Institute of America and carbon dated to the early 800's - during the viking era, when the Swedish were making metal swords and weapons out of iron! This is also referred to as slag, the runoff material/byproduct from making Iron and other metals.
Genuine, rare ancient glass we set in our sterling silver handcrafted earrings. Choose opaque light or transparent deep blue. Glass size 7mm. Overall just under 1" length.
