GEM SILICA CHRYSOCOLLA NECKLACE STERLING SILVER 16.5"
The name of this beautiful gem comes from the Greek chrysos, "gold", and kolla, "glue", in allusion to the name of the material used to solder gold, and was first used by Theophrastus in 315 BCE. These stunning authentic blue/green Gem Silica Chrysocolla and Red Cuprite beads hail from the now closed Blue Bird Mine in Arizona. We had them expertly cut into 6 and 8mm rondelle shaped beads! We finished this rare, one of a kind, 16.5" necklace with our own sterling silver beads and a sterling clasp! Handmade by NewWorldGems.
