The Lone Mountain turquoise mine, originally known as the Blue Jay Mine, is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, near Tonopah. This turquoise is celebrated for its exceptional ability to retain color without fading. The mine has produced some of the highest quality spider web turquoise, as well as beautiful, vibrant deep blue stones, all mined by hand in very small quantities.
