Andesine was first described in 1841 for an occurrence in the Marmato mine, in Columbia and has only recently been used for beads. The stunning light golden red coloring is 100% natural! This beautiful strand in smooth transparent 6 to 12x8mm free form beads and measures a long 18". This stone is a member of the Labradorite/Feldspar family of gemstones. Temporarily strung.
