Armenian turquoise comes from a number of mines in modern day Armenia. The stones from all mines show a great color variation, the most highly prized being bright blue with no matrix. Many mines were worked around Nishapur, 225 miles east of the southern end of the Caspian Sea and Mashad. We have very limited quantities of this gorgeous material. 17.5x10.2mm.
